Wednesday's Powerball jackpot rises to $65,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

The Powerball grand prize is on the move again. The jackpot for the Wednesday, May 7th, 2025 drawing goes to $65,000,000 with the cash value at an estimated $$29.9 million. The numbers from Monday, May 5th, 2025 drawing were 16-34-40-45-66 with Power Ball number 19.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There was a sole second prize winner from Monday night's Powerball drawing, matching all five white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The 1 ticket(s) in PR matched all 5 numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2 million cash win!
Additional prizes won Monday night included 3 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 1 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
There were 18,768 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There was a single lucky New York player matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. Powerball is an American popular lottery game offered in 44 member states as a shared jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time.
