Saturday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $32 million; 1 ticket matched the first five numbers

There were no tickets sold hit all six winning numbers in the last multi-state Powerball draw, and the projected grand prize for Saturday's drawing will climb to $32 million, lottery officials announced. The cash value will be a projected $21.8 million. The numbers from Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 drawing were 03, 10, 44, 55, 68 with Power Ball number 24. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 118 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. A single lucky winner from Michigan won the $70.00 million top prize in Wednesday, February 12th, 2020 drawing.
Though the jackpot was not awarded Wednesday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was a single lucky player that correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in California will collect $1 million cash.
Other prizes won Wednesday evening included 9 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Additional winners Wednesday night included 197 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 66 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but also chose the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday night included 490 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 164 additional tickets at this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 29,551 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 2 lucky New York winners matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 60 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 13 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine prize tiers, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 416,209 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. can be played in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game.
