The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing soars to $800,000,000

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune will be up for grabs on Monday, when Powerball has $800,000,000 on the line. The cash value stands at an estimated $$384.8 million. Powerball's jackpot increased since nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number drawn Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday night, March 23rd, 2024 were 06, 23, 25, 34, 51 and Powerball was 03. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 35 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. One lucky winner from Michigan won the 810,000,000 grand prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
While there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were five second prize winners from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The 5 lucky ticket(s) bought in California(1), Florida(1), Indiana(1), Texas(1) and Washington(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 38 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 14 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Saturday night included 1097 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 269 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! Other prizes won Saturday evening included 2672 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 684 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 149,111 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. Three tickets sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. There were 301 lucky New Yorkers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 38 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With 9 prize levels, there were 1,927,455 tickets nationwide won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, March 23rd, 2024 drawing.
