Big Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

Without a grand prize winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has carried over the jackpot to $444,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$207.2 million. No one hit all six winning numbers to win the $416,000,000 grand prize Wednesday. The next Powerball game drawing will be at 10:59 PM Saturday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday, March 19th, 2025 drawing were 08-11-21-49-59 with Power Ball number 15. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for 26 draws since Monday, January 20th, 2025. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in OR, matched all six numbers for a 331,000,000 top prize.
Though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 2 2nd prize winners from Wednesday night's drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The two ticket(s) in CO(1) and TX(1) matched all five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible 2 million dollar cash win!
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 15 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 6 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!

Powerball can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play, which increases the original prizes except jackpot. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments in 29 years. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
