Nobody matched all 6 numbers. Wednesday's Powerball jackpot increases to $155 million

There were no Powerball lottery jackpot winners for Saturday's $138 million dollar drawing, so the grand prize will build to an estimated $155 million with the lump-sum cash payout of a projected $106.5 million Wednesday, March 10th, 2021. The numbers from Saturday, March 6th, 2021 drawing were 11, 31, 50, 52, 58 and Powerball was 18.
Though the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. A total of 15 lucky players won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play option. 2 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Additional winners Saturday night included 288 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $100. 91 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but also bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! There were 799 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 241 additional players not just matched 3+1, but also chose the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 47,068 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. A single ticket sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will collect $10,000 cash. There were 71 lucky New Yorkers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 11 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine different prize tiers, there were 651,112 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, March 6th, 2021 drawing.
America's favorite Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play, which multiplies the original winnings except jackpot. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize is $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments. Winners may choose one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
