Monday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $125,000,000; 2 players matched the first 5 numbers

Without a grand prize winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has rolled over the jackpot to $125,000,000 for Monday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$59.6 million. No one matched all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number to win the $113,000,000 jackpot Saturday. The next Powerball lottery drawing will be at 10:59 PM Monday night. The numbers from Saturday, June 29th, 2024 drawing were 26, 51, 54, 61, 69 and Powerball was 25. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past eight draws since Wednesday, June 12th, 2024. One lucky player from NJ won the 221,000,000 top prize in Monday, June 10th, 2024 drawing.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 2 lucky tickets matched all five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 2 lucky ticket(s) purchased in IN(1) and NJ(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 9 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional players not just matched 4+1, and also bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 218 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 73 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 562 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 180 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 39,263 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. A ticket sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball. The lucky ticket holder will collect $10,000 cash. There were 74 lucky New Yorkers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 9 lucky New Yorkers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 ways to win, the Saturday night's drawing generated 499,095 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Powerball game uses a 5/69+1/26 matrix from which winning numbers are chosen. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32.
