Wednesday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $88 million; 1 ticket matched the first 5 numbers

Wednesday's Powerball lottery jackpot jumped to $88 million, since no player hit all six numbers drawn Saturday night. The cash value for Wednesday stands at $62.1 million. Saturday's $75 million is the total grand prize amount - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The winning numbers from Saturday night, June 26th, 2021 were 08-31-39-43-60 with Power Ball 17.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There was a sole second prize winner from Saturday night's drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The one lucky ticket(s) purchased in Wisconsin, each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 10 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 226 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 98 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 627 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and also won $100. 222 additional players not just matched 3+1, and also purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
With nine different prize levels, there were 505,842 tickets across U.S. won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, June 26th, 2021 drawing.
