Powerball jackpot climbs to $56,000,000 Wednesday, June 19th, 2024; 1 player won the second prize

There was no ticket sold with all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number in the latest multi-state Powerball draw, and the estimated jackpot for Wednesday's drawing will leap to $56,000,000, according to lottery officials. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $$27 million up for grab. The numbers from Monday night, June 17th, 2024 were 30, 48, 53, 58, 66 and Powerball number was 09.
While the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There was a single lucky winner correctly matched all 5 numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 lucky ticket(s) purchased in NJ, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Other prizes won Monday evening included 8 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash! Additional prizes won Monday night included 111 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 34 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! Additional prizes won Monday evening included 286 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 118 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.

There was a lucky New Yorker matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 37 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers.
