No jackpot winning ticket sold last night. Powerball jackpot rises to $40 million Wednesday night

Wednesday's Powerball game jackpot leaped to $40 million, since no ticket matched all six numbers drawn Saturday night. The lump-sum cash payout for Wednesday stands at $28.1 million. Saturday's $31 million is the total grand prize amount - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annual installments. The numbers from Saturday, June 12th, 2021 drawing were 08, 25, 34, 38, 41 and Powerball number was 10.
Though the grand prize was not awarded Saturday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were a total of 11 third prize lucky winners. These included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 250 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 71 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! 626 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 217 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 33,751 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. 2 tickets sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. There were 68 lucky New York winners won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 9 lucky New Yorkers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 prize levels, there were 475,610 tickets nationwide won $0 prizes in the Saturday, June 12th, 2021 drawing.
Powerball is an American popular lottery game sold in 44 participating states as a shared jackpot game.
