A single player in Florida walked away with $286 million Powerball jackpot in Saturday night's drawing

A single winning ticket in Saturday's Powerball lottery $286 million drawing was sold in Florida. The winning numbers from Saturday night, June 5th, 2021 were 44, 52, 54, 64, 69 with Power Ball 26. The winner can take a cash option worth $196.6 million before taxes, or choose to receive 29-year, 30-installment annuity option. The grand prize winner is highly suggested to sign the ticket, place it in a safe place and get in touch with lottery officials as soon as possible. Jackpot winner has the chance to choose the cash value of the jackpot while claimng the prizes. If the winner does not make choice, the payment option will revert to annuity by default.
Besides the grand prize hit on Saturday, more people took home with large winnings. There was only one second prize winning ticket from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching all five white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The 1 second prize ticket(s) from Puerto Rico matched all 5 white ball numbers and also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 18 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 5 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
There were 58,848 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were two lucky New York winners matched 4 lotto numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 112 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. There were 13 lucky New York winners won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine different ways to win, the Saturday night's drawing created 788,567 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
The next Powerball lotto grand prize is estimated at $20 million for Wednesday night. The cash option will be $13.8 million.
