Saturday's Powerball jackpot moves to $171,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

The jackpot in the Powerball multistate lottery game keeps going up and is going to be up to a projected $171,000,000 for the next drawing on Saturday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$81.4 million. The amount was rolled over since nobody matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number to win the $154,000,000 jackpot Wednesday night. The numbers drawn Wednesday night, July 31st, 2024 were 23-34-37-50-58 with Power Ball 07. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for twelve draws since Saturday, July 6th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in OH, matched all six numbers for a 138,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a single lucky winner correctly matched all five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize.
