Saturday's Powerball jackpot leaps to $54,000,000; Two players matched the first five numbers

Wednesday night's Powerball lottery drawing has yielded no jackpot winner for the $41,000,000 grand prize. With no player matched all six numbers in Powerball lottery , Saturday night's drawing is going to be worth a projected $54,000,000 for a single winner. The cash value stands at an estimated $$25.6 million. The numbers from Wednesday night, July 10th, 2024 were 07, 11, 12, 27, 46 and Powerball was 26.
Though there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were two lucky players that correctly matched all 5 numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) purchased in MA(1) and WA(1) will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Also, 13 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 5 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 316 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 142 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! There were 23,622 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. Two tickets sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. 81 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. There were 16 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.

Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play, select 5 numbers from a set of 69 and pick one Powerball number from a set of 26. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to spend $1 extra to buy the Power Play, which multiplies the winnings but not grand prize. The minimum Powerball jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments. Winners may choose one time lump-sum cash payout option instead.
