The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing soars to $206,000,000

There has been another roll-over in the grand prize for the multistate Powerball game - to $206,000,000. The cash option stands at a projected $$99.4 million. The grand prize grew because nobody matched all six winning numbers from Wednesday night's $188,000,000 drawing. The numbers from Wednesday, January 31st, 2024 drawing were 15-18-19-41-43 and Powerball was 14. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past thirteen draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a 810,000,000 top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole lucky winner correctly matched all five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in Texas won $1 million cash.
Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 6 tickets that matched 4 white numbers in addition to the Powerball and won $10,000. Other winners Wednesday evening included 205 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 71 additional players not just matched 4 white ball, but also bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Wednesday evening included 498 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $100. 178 additional tickets of this prize level were also purchased with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
With 9 ways to win, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 411,335 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
