Powerball jackpot rolls up to $56,000,000 Monday, January 27th, 2025; One ticket matched the first five numbers

The Powerball multi-state lottery jackpot rised to $56,000,000 (cash value $$24.9 million) Monday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $46,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The winning numbers from Saturday, January 25th, 2025 drawing were 08-15-17-53-66 and Powerball number was 14.
While there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was a single 2nd prize winner from Saturday night's drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in TX will collect 1 million dollar cash.
Other major winners Saturday night included 11 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional players not only matched 4+1, but additionally bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Other prizes won Saturday night included 219 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 87 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash! 515 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 205 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 33,872 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were two lucky New York winners matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. 72 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 13 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing produced 433,766 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
