Enormous Powerball jackpot up for grabs Saturday night

The grand prize in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been rolled up to $263,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$117.7 million. The prize amount was rolled over because no player hit all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number in Wednesday's $240,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball drawing is Saturday night. The numbers from Wednesday, January 8th, 2025 drawing were 01, 20, 36, 38, 43 with Power Ball number 24. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past fourteen draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. A single lucky player from NY won the 260,000,000 grand prize in Saturday, December 7th, 2024 drawing.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched the first five numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in OH won $1,000,000 cash. The other 1 second prize winner(s) from IN also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to $2,000,000 cash win!
Other major winners Wednesday night included 10 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 1 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
