Monday's Powerball jackpot builds to $46,000,000; Two second prize tickets sold

With no winner in the last drawing, the Powerball game grand prize is going to be worth a projected $46,000,000 (cash option $$22.8 million) the next time the multistate lottery is played on Monday. The amount carried over because no player matched all five white ball numbers and the Powerball number to win the $35,000,000 grand prize Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday night, January 6th, 2024 were 04-31-34-38-61 with Power Ball number 13.
Although there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There were two second prize winners from Saturday night's drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers but not the Powerball number. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in Arkansas(1) and California(1) will collect $1,000,000 cash.
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 8 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 2 additional players not just matched 4+1, but also chose the Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! In addition, 212 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 72 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each!
