No one hit the jackpot last night. Powerball jackpot climbs to $391,000,000

The jackpot in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been rolled up to $391,000,000. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$185.6 million. The prize amount was rolled over because no player hit all six winning numbers in Saturday's $376,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball game drawing is Monday night. The winning numbers from Saturday night, February 24th, 2024 were 03, 08, 40, 53, 58 with Power Ball number 03. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 23 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. A single lucky winner from Michigan walked away with 810,000,000 grand prize in Monday, January 1st, 2024 drawing.
While the jackpot was not awarded Saturday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. A total of 23 lucky tickets won the 3rd prize with or without Power Play option. These included 20 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Also, 347 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 122 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 975 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 322 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 63,308 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. Two tickets sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. There were 115 lucky New Yorkers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 19 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine prize levels, there were a total of 782,327 tickets across U.S. won $0 prizes in the Saturday, February 24th, 2024 drawing.
Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings occur 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay 1 extra dollar to buy the Power Play, which multiplies the prizes except jackpot. The overall odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching 6 Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment installments in 29 years. Winners can select one-time lump sum cash payout option instead.
