Massive Powerball jackpot up for grabs Wednesday night

The jackpot in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to climb exciting players all across the nation. Because nobody correctly matched all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number in Wednesday's drawing the jackpot will build to a projected $218,000,000! The lump-sum cash payout will be $$101.6 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Monday, February 23rd, 2026 drawing were 05, 11, 23, 29, 47 and Powerball number was 06. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for fourteen draws since Saturday, January 24th, 2026. One lucky player from NC won the 209,000,000 jackpot in Wednesday, January 21st, 2026 drawing.
Even though the grand prize was not awarded Monday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole 2nd prize winner from Monday night's Powerball drawing, matching all five lotto numbers but not the Powerball number. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in NY won 1 million dollar cash.

Powerball game is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball uses a 5/69 (white balls) + 1/26 (Powerballs) system to randomly choose winning numbers. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments. Winners may choose one time lump sum cash payout instead.
