The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $376,000,000

Without a big winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has carried over its jackpot to $376,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be $$177.5 million. No one hit all five lotto numbers and the Powerball number to win the $348,000,000 grand prize Wednesday. The next Powerball game drawing will be at 10:59 PM Saturday night. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, February 21st, 2024 were 04, 27, 33, 41, 42 and Powerball number was 14. The Powerball jackpot has been growing for 22 draws since Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a 810,000,000 top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There was a sole ticket that matched the first 5 numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one lucky ticket(s) bought in Arkansas, each won $1 million cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
In addition, 11 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. 3 additional players not only matched 4+1, but also bought the Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 262 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 78 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Wednesday night included 693 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 220 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 41,765 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. Two tickets sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers plus the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. 96 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. 8 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing created 511,777 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held 2 times a week every Wednesday and Saturday night at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. The minimum Powerball jackpot is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated payments. Winners can select one lump-sum cash payout instead.
