The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing soars to $810,000,000

The Powerball jackpot has jumped up to $810,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$408.9 million) for the next drawing in the multistate lottery game Monday night. The jackpot amount has been carried over because no one hit all 5 lotto numbers plus the Powerball number to take the $760,000,000 grand prize Saturday night. The numbers from Saturday, December 30th, 2023 drawing were 10-11-26-27-34 and Powerball was 07.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with huge pile of cash. There were 7 lucky tickets matched all five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The two ticket(s) in Texas(1) and West Virginia(1) matched the first five white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win! This is part of the Powerball lottery feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option doubling the prize to 2 million dollar cash. 5 other lucky ticket(s) bought in Colorado(1), New York(1), Ohio(1), South Carolina(1) and Tennessee(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
