Wednesday's Powerball jackpot builds to $117,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

Wednesday's Powerball lottery jackpot will be worth a projected $117,000,000 (cash value $$53.4 million), because no one hit all five white ball numbers plus the Powerball number in Monday night's drawing. The numbers from Monday, December 23rd, 2024 drawing were 22-42-44-57-64 and Powerball number was 18. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past seven draws since Monday, December 9th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in NY, matched all six numbers for a 260,000,000 top prize.
While there was no grand prize winner Monday evening, some people still walked away with huge pile of cash. There was a sole lucky player that correctly matched all 5 lotto numbers and won the 2nd prize. The 1 second prize winning ticket(s) sold in MI won $1 million cash.
Also, 7 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number.
