The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $543,000,000

Saturday night's Powerball drawing has yielded no jackpot winner for the $535,000,000 grand prize. With nobody hit all six numbers in Powerball , Monday night's drawing will be worth $543,000,000 for a single winner. The cash value will be a projected $$272.2 million. The numbers from Saturday night, December 16th, 2023 were 03, 09, 10, 20, 62 and Powerball number was 25. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 28 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. A single lucky winner from California walked away with 1,730,000,000 top prize in Wednesday, October 11th, 2023 drawing.
Even though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 2 tickets that correctly matched all five white ball numbers and won the second prize. The 2 second prize winning ticket(s) bought in New Jersey(1) and Wisconsin(1) won $1,000,000 cash.
Additional prizes won Saturday night included 35 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 11 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 762 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 262 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to a total win of $200 each! Other prizes won Saturday night included 1756 tickets that matched 3 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $100. 541 additional tickets at this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled winnings to $200 cash.
There were 84,612 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were four lucky New York winners matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball and won $10,000. 219 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 55 lucky New Yorkers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine different prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing created 1,049,284 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
America's favorite Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play Powerball, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 then select one Powerball number from a set of 26. The minimum Powerball grand prize starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners can select one time lump sum cash payout option instead.
