Monday's Powerball jackpot moves to $55,000,000; One player matched the first 5 numbers

The jackpot in the Powerball multi-state lottery game has been increased to $55,000,000. The cash option will be $$25.7 million. The prize amount was rolled over since nobody matched all 6 numbers in Saturday's $45,000,000 drawing. The next Powerball lottery drawing is Monday night. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, December 14th, 2024 were 12-17-23-52-67 and Powerball number was 01.
Though the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with large winnings. There was a sole lucky winner correctly matched the first 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in MA won $1,000,000 cash.
