The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing soars to $260,000,000

There were no Powerball lottery jackpot winners for Wednesday's $240,000,000 dollar drawing, so the jackpot will rise to $260,000,000 with the lump-sum cash payout of a projected $$123 million Saturday, December 7th, 2024. The numbers from Wednesday night, December 4th, 2024 were 01, 23, 25, 28, 61 and Powerball number was 13. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past 18 draws since Saturday, October 26th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in GA, matched all six numbers for a 478,000,000 top prize.
Although there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were a total of 15 3rd prize winning tickets with or without Power Play option. These included 12 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Wednesday night included 213 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 72 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 608 tickets that matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 240 additional players not just matched 3+1, and also bought the Power Play option, doulbled the winnings to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 37,647 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were three lucky New York winners matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There was one lucky New York player matched 4 lotto numbers and also the Powerball with Power Play and won $40,000. 104 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. 19 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
