The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball drawing soars to $240,000,000

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball drawing climbed to $240,000,000 for the Wednesday drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $$113.6 million. No ticket sold for Monday's $224,000,000 drawing hit six numbers. The numbers from Monday, December 2nd, 2024 drawing were 03-09-26-61-67 with Power Ball 13. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 17 draws since Saturday, October 26th, 2024. One lucky player from GA walked away with 478,000,000 top prize in Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 drawing.
While the grand prize was not hit Monday evening, Powerball had some big winners. There was a single ticket that matched the first 5 white ball numbers and won the 2nd prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) bought in MA will collect 1 million dollar cash.
