Monday's Powerball jackpot rolls up to $412,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

The grand prize in America's favorite Powerball lottery game continues to move up exciting players all across the nation. Because nobody correctly matched all five lotto numbers plus the Powerball number in Monday's drawing the grand prize will jump to an estimated $412,000,000! The cash value stands at a projected $$194 million up for grab. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, December 2nd, 2023 were 28, 35, 41, 47, 60 and Powerball was 03. There was no jackpot winning ticket sold in the past 22 draws since Saturday, October 14th, 2023. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in California, matched all six numbers for a 1,730,000,000 top prize.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Saturday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. There was a sole second prize winning ticket from Saturday night's drawing, matching all five lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The one ticket(s) in District of Columbia matched all 5 white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win!
Other prizes won Saturday evening included 10 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. 4 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely purchased with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
There were 68,564 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There was a lucky New York winner matched 4 lotto numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 121 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 20 lucky New Yorkers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 prize tiers, there were a total of 823,864 tickets across the nation won a total of $0 prizes in the Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 drawing.
America's favorite Powerball game can be played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Each play costs $2. Players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Power Play option, which multiplies the original winnings except jackpot. The overall odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of matching all six Powerball numbers are 1 to 292,201,338. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot starts at 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners can choose one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
