The jackpot for Monday's Powerball drawing soars to $750,000,000

Without a jackpot winner in the last drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has rolled over the grand prize to $750,000,000 for Monday night's drawing. The cash option stands at an estimated $$338.6 million up for grab. No player hit all 5 lotto numbers and the Powerball number to win the $700,000,000 jackpot Saturday. The next Powerball drawing is going to be at 10:59 PM Monday night. The numbers from Saturday night, August 23rd, 2025 were 11, 14, 34, 47, 51 with Power Ball number 18. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 36 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 207,000,000 top prize.
Though there was no jackpot winner Saturday evening, Powerball had some huge winners. There were three 2nd prize winners from Saturday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 numbers except the Powerball number. The two second prize winning ticket(s) bought in ME(1) and NY(1) will collect 1 million dollar cash. The other 1 second prize winner(s) from SD also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!
In addition, 31 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 5 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
There were 122,654 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. The lucky New York ticket won the second prize was sold from . Two tickets sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers and also the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. 267 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. 34 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will collect $200 each.
With nine prize levels, the Saturday night's drawing generated 1,742,559 winning tickets nationwide with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 member states as a pari-mutuel jackpot game. Powerball drawings occur every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. To play, choose 5 numbers from 1 to 69 and select one Powerball number from a set of 26. Each play costs $2.
