Powerball jackpot increases to $700,000,000; 3 tickets won the second prize

Saturday's Powerball game grand prize leaped to $700,000,000, because no one hit all 5 white ball numbers plus the Powerball number drawn Wednesday night. The cash value for Saturday will be $$316.3 million up for grab. Wednesday's $643,000,000 is the total payout - before taxes - if the prize is taken in annuity. The winning numbers from Wednesday night, August 20th, 2025 were 31-59-62-65-68 with Power Ball 05. No one won the Powerball grand prize in the past 35 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. One lucky player from CA won the 207,000,000 top prize in Saturday, May 31st, 2025 drawing.
While there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were 3 second prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's drawing, matching the first 5 lotto numbers except the Powerball number.
