The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing soars to $700,000,000

The lottery official announced that the Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a carry over, generating a $700,000,000 jackpot for the next drawing Saturday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at $$316.3 million up for grab. The winning numbers from Wednesday, August 20th, 2025 drawing were 31-59-62-65-68 and Powerball number was 05.
Even though there was no grand prize winner Wednesday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were three lucky tickets matched the first 5 lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The 1 ticket(s) in TN matched the first five white ball numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win! This is part of the Powerball lottery feature that guarantees a certain multiplier on all match 5 white ball winners that also have the Power Play option pushing the second prize to $2 million cash. Two other lucky ticket(s) purchased in MI(1) and OK(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers!
