The jackpot for Saturday's Powerball drawing skyrockets to $482,000,000

Without a big winner in the latest drawing, the Powerball multistate lottery game has carried over its jackpot to $482,000,000 for Saturday night's drawing. The cash value will be a projected $$218.9 million. No player hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Powerball number to win the $449,000,000 grand prize Wednesday. The next Powerball game drawing will be at 10:59 PM Saturday night. The numbers from Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 drawing were 15, 27, 43, 45, 53 and Powerball was 09. Nobody won the Powerball grand prize in the past 29 draws since Monday, June 2nd, 2025. The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in CA, matched all six numbers for a 207,000,000 top prize.
While there was no jackpot winner Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were four second prize winning tickets from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first five lotto numbers except the Powerball number. The four lucky ticket(s) purchased in CA(1), NJ(1), NY(1) and OH(1), each won $1,000,000 cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
