The MUSL lottery official announced that the Monday, April 21st, 2025, POWERBALL's drawing resulted in a roll-over, creating a $151,000,000 grand prize for the next drawing Wednesday. The lump-sum cash payout stands at an estimated $$69.3 million. The winning numbers drawn Monday night, April 21st, 2025 were 04-33-45-46-51 and Powerball number was 25. No one won the Powerball jackpot in the past 10 draws since Monday, March 31st, 2025. One lucky winner from CA walked away with 515,000,000 jackpot in Saturday, March 29th, 2025 drawing.
Even though the jackpot was not awarded Monday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. A total of 10 lucky players won the 3rd prize. These included 8 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Additional prizes won Monday night included 132 tickets that matched 4 white ball numbers and won $100. 39 additional players not only matched 4 white ball, but in addition bought the Power Play option, double the prizes to a total win of $200 each! 382 tickets matched 3 of the 5 lotto numbers, plus the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 130 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 23,790 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were two lucky New York players matched 4 white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 55 lucky New York players won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. There were 13 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With 9 ways to win, the Monday night's drawing generated 303,566 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern Time. To play Powerball, choose 5 numbers from a set of 69 then select 1 Powerball number from 1 to 26. The odds of winning is about 1 to 32. The odds of matching 6 Powerball numbers are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball advertised grand prize is $40,000,000. Its annuity option is paid in 30 graduated installments.
