Saturday's Powerball jackpot climbs to $104 million; 1 player matched the first five numbers

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball drawing rised to $104 million for the Saturday drawing. The lump-sum cash payout will be a projected $72 million. No ticket sold for Wednesday's $90 million drawing matched six numbers. The numbers from Wednesday, April 21st, 2021 drawing were 21, 25, 32, 63, 67 with Power Ball 06. The Powerball grand prize has been rolling over for 124 draws since Saturday, February 15th, 2020. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in Michigan, matched all six numbers for a $70.00 million top prize.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Wednesday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There was a single second prize winner from Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, matching the first 5 white ball numbers except the Powerball number. The one second prize ticket(s) from South Carolina matched all 5 white ball numbers and also bought Power Play, which doubled the prize to 2 million dollar cash win!
In addition, 7 tickets matched four of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. Those tickets are each worth $10,000. There were 3 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the prizes by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each!
With 9 different prize tiers, the Wednesday night's drawing generated 473,242 winning tickets across the nation with a total amount of $0 prizes.
