Powerball jackpot leaps to $115,000,000; 2 second prize tickets sold

The Powerball multi-state lottery grand prize increased to $115,000,000 (lump-sum cash payout $$53.1 million) Monday night when there were no jackpot winners in the $98,000,000 drawing, lottery officials said. The numbers from Saturday, April 20th, 2024 drawing were 04, 35, 41, 44, 58 with Power Ball 25. The Powerball grand prize has been growing for six draws since Monday, April 8th, 2024. The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in OR, matched all six numbers for a 1,300,000,000 top prize.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, some people still walked away with big money. There were 2 lucky tickets correctly matched the first five lotto numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the 2nd prize. The two lucky ticket(s) purchased in OH(1) and PR(1), each won 1 million dollar cash by matching all 5 white ball numbers.
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 8 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 4 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 251 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 76 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! There were 584 tickets that matched three white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 198 additional players not just matched 3+1, but additionally chose the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
