No jackpot ticket sold last night. Powerball jackpot rolls up to $47,000,000 Saturday, April 5th, 2025

Wall Street is not the only place where fortunes are made and lost these days. One fortune will be up for grabs on Saturday, when Powerball game has $47,000,000 on the line. The cash option will be $$21.8 million. Powerball's grand prize went up since nobody matched all 6 winning numbers drawn Wednesday night. The numbers from Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 drawing were 05, 17, 41, 64, 69 with Power Ball number 01.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Wednesday evening, Powerball did produce some big winners. There were a total of 4 3rd prize winning tickets with or without Power Play. 2 additional tickets of this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied winnings 4 times to $40,000 cash!
Also, 126 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 51 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! 298 tickets matched three of the five lotto numbers, as well as the Powerball number. These tickets are also each worth $100. There were 121 tickets matched 3+1 with Power Play option, doubled the prizes to win a total win of $200 each.
There were 22,152 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. Two tickets sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will receive $10,000 cash each. There were 33 lucky New Yorkers won $100 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers. 9 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play. The lucky ticket holders will receive $200 each.
With nine prize levels, the Wednesday night's drawing produced 270,973 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball lottery is played in 42 states, D.C. and the US Virgin Islands. To play Powerball, pick 5 numbers from a set of 69 then choose one Powerball number from 1 to 26. The odds of winning any prizes is about 1 to 32. The chances of winning Powerball grand prize are about 1 in 292 million. The minimum Powerball advertised jackpot is 40 million dollar. The annuity option is paid in 30 yearly increment payments in 29 years. Winners can select one-time lump-sum cash payout instead.
