Monday's Powerball jackpot rises to 59,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

There has been another carry over in the jackpot for the multistate Powerball - to 59,000,000. The cash option will be an estimated $29.6 million. The jackpot grew because no one matched all 6 numbers from Saturday night's 47,000,000 drawing. The numbers from Saturday, November 12th, 2022 drawing were 16, 20, 44, 57, 58 with Power Ball 06.
Even though the jackpot was not hit Saturday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There was only one ticket that correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The one ticket(s) in Texas matched the first five numbers with the Power Play for an incredible $2,000,000 cash win!
Additional prizes won Saturday evening included 15 tickets that matched 4 white numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000. 3 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that multiplied the prize 4 times to $40,000 cash!
With nine prize tiers, the Saturday night's drawing produced 587,426 winning tickets across U.S. with a total amount of $0 prizes.
Powerball is one of the most popular lottery games in the U.S. sold in 44 lottery jurisdictions as a pari-mutuel jackpot game.
