Monday's Powerball jackpot leaps to 52,000,000; One second prize ticket sold

The jackpot in the multi-state Powerball drawing leaped to 52,000,000 for the Monday drawing. The cash value will be a projected $27.4 million. No ticket sold for Saturday's 45,000,000 drawing hit five white ball numbers and the Powerball number. The winning numbers drawn Saturday night, March 11th, 2023 were 11-20-33-43-58 and Powerball number was 24. Nobody won the Powerball jackpot in the past 263 draws since Wednesday, June 16th, 2021. The last jackpot was won by a lucky ticket sold in , matched all six numbers for a $31.00 million top prize.
Even though the grand prize was not hit Saturday evening, some people still walked away with huge prizes. There was a sole lucky winner matched all five white ball numbers but missed Powerball number, which won the second prize. The one second prize winning ticket(s) sold in Colorado won 1 million dollar cash.
Other major winners Saturday night included 4 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Powerball and won $10,000. There were 5 tickets matched 4+1 with Power Play option, multiplying the winnings by 4 for a total win of $40,000 each! Also, 236 tickets matched 4 of the 5 lotto numbers. Those tickets are each worth $100. There were 81 tickets matched 4 white ball with Power Play option, doubled the winnings to a total win of $200 each! Additional prizes won Saturday night included 549 tickets that matched 3 white numbers together with Powerball and won $100. 180 additional tickets of this prize level were also bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash.
There were 34,189 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. 2 tickets sold in New York matched 4 lotto numbers in addition to the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. 59 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will receive $100 each. There were 10 lucky New York players won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
