Wednesday's Powerball jackpot will be worth an estimated $78,000,000 (cash option $$36.5 million), since no one matched all six numbers in Monday night's drawing. The winning numbers from Monday, April 15th, 2024 drawing were 07-16-41-56-61 and Powerball number was 23.
Although the jackpot was not hit Monday evening, some players still walked away with huge prizes. A total of 9 lucky winners won the third prize. These included 7 tickets that matched four white ball numbers plus the Powerball and won $10,000.
Other prizes won Monday night included 160 tickets that matched 4 white numbers and won $100. 61 additional tickets at this prize level were also wisely bought with the Power Play option that doubled the prize to $200 cash! There were 396 tickets that correctly matched 3 white ball numbers plus the Powerball and also won $100. 134 additional players not only matched 3+1, but additionally purchased the Power Play option, doulbled the prizes to $200 cash each ticket.
There were 26,545 Powewrball winning tickets sold in the state of New York. 2 tickets sold in New York matched 4 white ball numbers in addition to the Powerball. These lucky ticket holders will collect $10,000 cash each. 55 tickets were sold in the state of New York which matched either 4 or 3+1 numbers. The lucky ticket holders will collect $100 each. There were 10 lucky New Yorkers won $200 prize by matching 4 or 3+1 numbers with Power Play purchased.
With nine prize tiers, there were 339,559 tickets nationwide won a total of $0 prizes in the Monday, April 15th, 2024 drawing.
