No one matched all six numbers last night. Friday's Mega Millions jackpot goes to $83 million

There was no ticket sold hit all 5 white ball numbers and the Mega Ball number in the latest multi-state Mega Millions draw, and the projected grand prize for Friday's drawing will leap to $83 million, according to lottery officials. The lump-sum cash payout stands at a projected $65.5 million. The numbers from Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 drawing were 16-20-25-30-43 and the Mega Ball was 18, Megaplier was 3. The Mega Millions grand prize has been rolling over for 701 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by a single ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

Even though there was no grand prize winner Tuesday evening, some people still walked away with large winnings. 11 3rd prize winning tickets were sold across the nation. These included 11 tickets that matched four white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000.

Other prizes won Tuesday evening included 296 tickets that matched 4 lotto numbers and won $500. Other prizes won included 661 tickets that matched 3 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $200.

There were 67,784 Mega Millions winning tickets sold in the state of New York. There were 33892 jackpot winning tickets sold in the state of New York.

With nine ways to win, there were a total of 930,910 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Tuesday, July 7th, 2020 drawing.

Mega Millions is a consortium associated with 44 state lotteries. It holds the record biggest jackpot of $656 million in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions drawings occur every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. To play, select 5 numbers from 1 to 70 and pick a Mega Ball number from 1 to 25. Each play costs $1. In some states, players can choose to pay $1 extra to buy the Megaplier, which multiplies the original winnings 2 to 5 times but not grand prize. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize is 40 million dollar. Its annuity option is paid in 30 equal yearly payments. Winners can choose one lump-sum cash payout instead.
