Mega Millions jackpot rolls up to $376 million Tuesday night; Three tickets won the second prize

The jackpot in the multi-state Mega Millions drawing built to $376 million for the Tuesday drawing. The cash value stands at $287.4 million. None of the tickets sold for Friday's $352 million drawing matched five lotto numbers plus the Mega Ball number. The numbers from Friday, December 25th, 2020 drawing were 17, 23, 36, 69, 70 and the Mega Ball was 19, Megaplier was 2. The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing for 750 draws since Friday, October 4th, 2013.The last jackpot was won by one lucky ticket sold in Maryland, matched all six numbers for a $189 million top prize.

While the jackpot was not hit Friday evening, some players still walked away with big money. There were three tickets that correctly matched all 5 white ball numbers and won the second prize. The three second prize winning ticket(s) sold in won a quarter million dollar cash each.

Additional prizes won Friday evening included 17 tickets that matched 4 white numbers as well as the Mega Ball and won $10,000. Additional winners Friday evening included 442 tickets that matched four white ball numbers and won $500. There were 1242 tickets that matched three white ball numbers as well as the Mega Ball and also won $200.

With 9 different ways to win, there were a total of 1,897,988 winning tickets sold nationwide in the Friday, December 25th, 2020 drawing.

Mega Millions is played in 43 states and D.C. It holds the record biggest jackpot in U.S. lottery history. Mega Millions drawings are held 2 times a week every Tuesday and Friday night at 10:59 PM Eastern Time. The minimum Mega Millions grand prize starts at $40 million. The annuity option is paid in 30 equal annual payments. Winners may select one lump sum cash payout option instead.
